Dezerland Park Orlando is a massive 850,000-square-foot indoor entertainment complex and home to one of the world's largest
private car collections.
This is a $200m collection with over 2000 exhibits
Opened in 2020, it is the creation of real estate developer and avid car collector Michael Dezer, who
spent over 50 years amassing the vehicles featured in its signature museum.
The facility occupies a building with a long history of transformations on International Drive:Festival Bay Mall (2002–2013):
Originally opened by Belz Enterprises as an "upscale entertainment complex" featuring anchors like Bass Pro Shops and Cinemark.
However, it struggled due to heavy competition and a general decline in tourism.
- Artegon Marketplace (2014–2017): Rebranded as an "anti-mall" focused on artisanal crafts and local vendors,
it closed in early 2017.
- Dezerland Park (2018–Present): Michael Dezer purchased the property in 2018 and began transforming it into Florida’s
largest indoor attraction, officially opening in December 2020.
- The Orlando Auto Museum
- The "beating heart" of Dezerland is the Orlando Auto Museum, a $200 million collection of over 2,000 vehicles.
Key highlights include:
- The Batcave: A collection of screen-used Batmobiles and memorabilia.
- James Bond Museum: Recognized as the world's largest collection of 007 movie cars, aircraft, and gadgets.
- The American Dream: A Guinness World Record-holding 100-foot-long limousine equipped with a putting green,
jacuzzi, and helipad.
- Hollywood Stars: Iconic cars from Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and Fast and the Furious.
- Current Attractions
Beyond the museum, the park operates as a diverse entertainment hub:
- Racing & Gaming: Features Florida's longest indoor go-kart track and the state's largest pinball and video arcade.
- Active Fun: Includes a 20,000-square-foot trampoline park, laser tag, and axe throwing.
- Dining & Retail: A food hall with various cuisines and several unique shops.
